Earthy and beautifully understated, this Japanese ceramic jug is finished in a softly speckled cream glaze with warm brown tones appearing naturally across the surface. Visible throwing lines, glaze movement and a long curved handle give the piece a relaxed, handmade character, while the small pouring lip adds a simple functional detail.

Individually sourced at a ceramic market in Toki, Japan, its form has a quiet rustic quality that works beautifully alongside natural timber, linen and other Japanese ceramics.

Condition: New but imperfect. There is a visible crack where the handle joins the main body, shown clearly in the photos. The price has been reduced to reflect this fault. As the crack is at a structural point, we recommend supporting the jug from the body rather than lifting it by the handle when in use.
